Digital Physician has been providing unbiased reviews of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) products since 2001. During this time we have seen technology evolve and products and their companies change. In 2004, these evaluations took on a whole new meaning for Dr. Stewart. This time, the designer of Digital Physician was using his own product to find the right EMR for his primary care office (6 physicians and 15 staff). After many weary months of evaluating products, the final decision was to create our own EMR using existing software and tools. This custom EMR solution would have the features we needed and be designed to complement our work flow. Our focus now is on developing this product and possibly making it available for other users. Since plenty of information abounds on EMR products on the Internet and in news media, the interactive EMR comparisons provided by digitalphysician.com will no longer be available.
